Guest guest
If you get a satisfactory answer, please tell us as DH has been coughing for a year now and DS and I for a month... Anneliese and Toddler Tim who's a bit better today. Coughs Been very laid back here and now wondering if I should be concerned. DS1 has had a cough for 2 weeks and it is not really getting any better despite having had cough medicine everyday. DS2 has now just started with it. Do I ignore it or do I start to think about ringing the GP for an appointment in another week (1 week standard waiting at our practice) or do I make a more urgent appointment for DS1? I hate taking them to the GP and tend to put it off for as long as possible but am now wondering how long a cough should go on for! Guest guest
Trisha DS had a very long cough this autumn (4/5 weeks), and I had one in the summer - apparently there were quite a lot going round this area of Surrey this summer/autumn - so perhaps it is a virus, but your doc would be able to confirm if there were longstanding coughs going round... I do hope they get better soon Caro > I hate taking them to the GP and tend to put it off for as long as possible > but am now wondering how long a cough should go on for! > > Trisha > SAHM to 3 boys > Jack 8, 6 and Isaac
