Ruthie - relieved to hear you are OK as I seem to remember Queens is

quite close to Brooklyn - were you at home when the crash happened? I

thought you were going to ground zero today so when Vicki told me

about crash was rather concerned that you'd be out and about.

Just so dreadful for this city to have another disaster so soon after

Sept 11th (or at all of course) - just does seem pretty coincidential

in the circs..

At home, on my nephew's Mac, trying to see the screen through the

grime, ...I dont know HOW that young man can live in such a filthy

room! (he's 30 so I guess no one is going to clean it for him!)

We're planning to go to Manhattan *tomorrow* hopefully.

When I heard about the crash I though of Ruthie, glad you are not involved.

How terrible, it must be so sad in NYC today, so much horror in the last few

months, its unthinkable. Puts my problems well into perspective, dont know

what I would do without my husband or my parents!
