Talk to the ins. at CT and see what they know... also, you can talk to HR at work to see if they can get it covered.

Just a thought.

I have BCBS Federal Program Basic Option and Cranial Technologies is not one of the preferred providers so I don't believe they will cover it. I submitted a claim but haven't received a response yet. I am doubtful it will be covered. I believe Hanger is a preferred provider but I would definitely check wiht your specific plan. I think you can check on line. although Hanger is a preferred provider I still went with Cranial Tech because in the NJ/NY area it appears they do not have a great reputation and all my recommendations were to go to CT so that's what I did. It is a lot of money though, $3300 but we are doing the payment plan which spreads it out over 18 months with no interest so that worked for us.

I live in New York and am a Teacher in a public school. As an employee I have blue cross blue shield united healthcare government. We were covered 2700 of the 3000 we laid out to start. We never had to apeal, were granted approval and were sent a check. Guess we are one of the lucky ones not hassled with all this appealing. Good luck. Dont skip cranial if they are not completely covered, we saw great results in 8 weeks and would not have gone with any other provider even if we had to pay the full 3000 out of pocket, this is an investment in your childs apearance for the rest of their lives. (Which could be a long time as they are projecting kids today can live to see 100!!!!easily!!!!!!!) Your heart will point you in the right direction, Cranial takes major credit cards, just think of it

as Christmas...if you have to.
