got a root canal on his front tooth at 6 (he's 9 1/2 now) and he still

has that baby tooth!

I hope she handles it as well as he did!

Yea.

She has this cavity in one of her molers and part of the tooth chipped off.

He did an x-ray and it is down in the root but since the tooth is a few

years off coming out he won't pull it. Said that it is a place holder and

if he pulls it it will screw up the alignment of her teeth.

He said that he could refer us out to the ped dentist if I thought that she

was going to be horrible but I told him, No, he could do it. I really don't

like the ped dentist that he sent us to to get a second opinion on this

weird tooth of Dakotas.

Their attitude sucks.

I don't know how many comments that I got from the people in the waiting

room (one of the women in there with her daughter was the daughter of the

receptionist), the comments from the office staff and all and the dr. about

the size of my family.

UGH!

I have NEVER, until that day, had someone pregnant tell me that they would

rather gnaw off their arm than have 7 kids. People like that can just bite

me. I FREAKING HATE THEM!! And I refuse to go into an office where people

(mainly the staff) react with stupid comments about the size of my family.

They are freaking raising the kids.

They aren't the ones that deal with my kids issues with very little

complaint.

They don't have to feed or cloth them.

They don't have to live with them.

They don't even have to see them every day.

And the next dumbass self-centered holier-than-thou know-it-all bitch that

makes some stereotypical narrow-minded comment about how her tax dollars

better not be supporting " all those kids " I am going to go off. Hope

someone comes and bails me out of jail when I punch them in the mouth.

Ok, done going off now.

But the point of all that was, I really hope that Dr. Moser does not expect

me to give that dentist any more of my business.

Me too.

She is a total chicken-shit of everything.

At training tonight I asked my supervisor if she had a copy of Going to the

Dentist. She did. Should have thought of that one sooner.

She will probably carry it into the dentist office tomarrow.

I am so sorry..people are stupid, and they do not think before they

talk. I get comments all the time, and I only have 3!! They happen to

be boys, so people feel the need to remind me how hard my life is and

will always be, and how they could never do it, and how they don't

know how I do it.. BLAH BLAH BLAH!! You just get up and do it..like

there is a choice.. " Today, I will not take care of my kids, nope not

feeling it. " I come from a family of 7, and we heard it all.

People need to keep their unwanted, misinformed, silly comments to

themselves.

Crap like this really gets under my skin.

Having 5 girls we have heard all kinds of stupid stuff like " OMG! All those

weddings you have to pay for. " And then there is the stupid puberty

comments about 'that time of the month'. I just want to smack people.

Boys are not easier than girls and girls are not easier than boys. They are

just different to raise.

LOL Great comeback..usually I just give nasty looks. I had someone at

our insurance agency tell me when Zach was throwing a fit and hitting

me in the face (this was a few years ago), and I was calmly telling

him No hitting..that hurts. She sniffed and said " My somebody is

spoiled. " , and I said SOMBODY has a nuerological disorder called PDD-

NOS that causes aggresive behavior. Then she apologized and said my

son has ADHD..I was thinking..if you know what it is like why on

earth make comments to others? I think that is worse than people who

have no clue!!

I'll chip in for the bail money, and I'll also punch them out again when you

go to trial! ly, I KNOW I couldn't handle all those kids, but I ADMIRE

you and the type or person you and your husband must be to be able to do the

type of job you're doing.

Yea.

That is the other lot that I would like to smack upside the head. The ones

that want to offer all their great parenting advice. The little old ladies

that mean well drive me the battiest because I just can bring myself to be

rude to an old person (yes, even I have lines that I don't cross).

There are two things that I remember well. One was the woman that told me I

was being verbally abusive to Savannah because to told her to shut up. If

anything I might have been rude in a sense but I am sorry, I would like to

meet an autistic kid that, especially in the begnining, understands things

like " hush " " you are being to loud " ect. Shut up is what she undertands.

I got in this womans face and told her if she thinks she can do better she

was more than welcome ot take her home. She said she should call the

police. Told her I would dial the phone for her. Sad thing was, we didn't

know what was wrong with Savannah at the time. I have this tone I use with

her now. One day in the car I just lost it.

" Savannah... "

she cuts me off " I know, shut up. "

The other time I was carring Sierra though the store. Just a baby at the

time. She was screaming her head off. Some rude old lady made the comment

" Sounds like someone wants their bottle. "

" I just fed her "

" I don't see a bottle " or something of that nature.

ARGH!! " I am nursing "

" Oh. Well, maybe she needs burped "

ARGH!!

No, she was tired and wanted to sleep. Sierra could never go to sleep as a

baby if someone was touching her. Sensory problems.

And wonders why I hate people.

Yeah..I don't yell at old people either. I still give them the " look "

though. Whether they get it or not..I am not sure. Aren't all those

helpful people great. I wish they could come home with me for a day

or two, and grab Zach out of the fridge 500 million times..or pick

his 65 lb butt of the counter, table, or wherever he thinks food is

stored. They could answer 200 million questions with a smile and a

semi-logical answer for them all. They could hear the whine of

homework, shower, help out..I am a slave!! Better yet they could deal

with all the bitchy, know-it-all, and the well meaning but clueless

teachers.

Fun will be had by all.

was put out on a medical discharge so at the time we were getting

retirment benifits and disablitiy benifits from the VA. Now we only get the

disabilty from the VA.

Oh, here is something else that happened to us once. We went to eat at this

buffet. We were in there every so often. There was this one " waitress "

(you know they mainly clear the tables than get you anything), that was just

a total bitch.

The one time we were in there the kids made somewhat of a mess. First of

all, this was back when we were still teaching Savannah table manners and

Dalton was a baby still in a high chair. You know how kids like that make a

mess (let alone an autistic one without any coordination). has always

been more than generous with the tips that he leaves when the kids make a

mess like that and we try to clean it up even though we have waitresses

telling us not to worry about it.

So the next time that we were in there that waitress came over and made the

comment right to Dalton " You aren't going to make a mess this time are you? "

the entire time she was giving me a dirty look.

said something to the manager about how rude she was to us. Turns out

that she was showing her ass off because her family was in there sitting

behind us.

The next time we were in there she stayed as far away from us as she could.

Noticed after that she didn't work there any more.
