But wouldn't it be a great show? When I need a laugh I picture my husband and I fighting on tv and in the background saying something typical for her like " did you shit on the floor? " or her spinning and spinning around and around. I'm so losing it
Guest guest
i watch this show on showtime called queer as folk. as you might guess from the title, it's a gay themed show. it's about a group of gay friends living in pittsburgh and i really like it. ok, so i go on the message boards to talk about the show and lately there have been some terribly obnoxious threads about how awful the show is or has become. i simply said to one of them that, if he hated it that much, why not watch something else? sounds easy enough, right? so then he answers back that watching a horrible gay show is better than watching no gay show at all (obviously he's gay). so i responded that he had some pretty weird logic, because really, isn't that kind of weird? so then about 4 or 5 people attacked me and one said this... " It sure is great that you have thousands of shows to pick from that in some way represent the day-to-day world you live in; however, others don't have that luxury. " to which i responded... " thousands, huh? when was the last time you ever saw a tv show about a single mom having 2 autistic kids? try never. thank you for your time and misunderstanding. i'm moving on now " some people just have no clue :-| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What is today, but yesterday's tomorrow - Mr. Krabs ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ gina, 31, ny single mom to - kailey, 8, autism, hyperlexia, depression, anxiety, OCD, DSI trevor, 3, multiple developmental delays, no " official " dx yet parker jade, due 7-25-03 :-D
