May 13, 2003 Mother Is Held in Sons' Deaths By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS TYLER, Tex., May 12 - An East Texas woman has been charged with using rocks to fatally beat two of her children. The woman, Deanna L. Laney, spent Mother's Day in jail on suicide watch, sobbing and muttering. She was held in lieu of $3 million bond on capital murder and aggravated assault charges. Early Saturday, sheriff's deputies found two of her sons - K. Laney, 8, and Luke A. Laney, 6 - dead in her yard and a 14-month-old son bleeding in his crib with a pillow over his face. The toddler, J. Laney, remained in critical condition today at a Dallas hospital. Sheriff J. B. told The Dallas Morning News that Ms. Laney used her cellphone to report that God ordered her to kill her sons. This morning, Sheriff told The Associated Press that investigators could no longer discuss the case because a state judge had ordered parties not to comment on it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What is today, but yesterday's tomorrow - Mr. Krabs ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ gina, 31, ny single mom to - kailey, 8, autism, hyperlexia, depression, anxiety, OCD, DSI trevor, 3, multiple developmental delays, no " official " dx yet parker jade, due 7-25-03 :-D
