I have a large unidentified piece of meat in my deep freeze. I think that

Robbie's godparents brought it, but I do not remember what it was supposed to

be.

It is roastlike in shape so I am assuming it is indeed a roast, but it is a

little flatter than most roasts.

Any thoughts on how to cook? A method that would work for whatever type of

meat it might be (looks like beef)?

OMG! That is too funny! Almost any meat can be made in the oven with

potatoes and carrots and maybe some celery. Bake at 300 degrees for a

couple of hours and voila.....supper is served. Hehehehe. This has me

laughing.

Stick it in the oven at 325 and cook it for two hours? That's pretty

standard for a roast...but you said it's big, so maybe 2 1/2 or 3? If it's

pork, it shouldn't take that much different a method than beef...

One thing that works well for almost any beefish type meat is to toss

it into the crock pot with onion, bell pepper, and garlic.

Then I just add in potatoes, celery, and sometimes carrots...whatever

seems good at the time.

Truth is, I'd be tempted to toss a piece of meat I couldn't

identify...esp if I couldn't remember how long it had been there.
