Guest guest
Did anyone else watch the prog on BBC1 tonight about the Walton girls 18th? I did enjoy it - even if I was ironing. Guest guest
Yes, I watched it and thought it was pretty good, it's good to see that they are well, it was sweet that they wanted to go away with their family for their birthday. I have to say though, watching it made me feel very old because I can remember those girls being born, LOL. Hazel Yes - it was lovely. I t hardly seems any time between their birth, going to school, the interview they did with Philip Schofield, and becoming 18! It was really great to see that the parents had 'survived' too, and were looking so well! I loved the Dad`s patter to the Ladies' Group. I thought the father came across very sympathetically. Although I am old enough, I didn't really recall their birth but the program did clarify what dw means by the phrase *having the Waltons* (meaning having a lot of children). I always thought it was a reference to the book/TV programme (silly me) james
