Guest guest
Hello! My son who is 6 months old just got his band Monday. We live in Westchester and are using Cranial Tech in Paramus. Not sure if you have a car but it is about a 1/2 drive from us. So far they are very good. 2 of my friends used them about 5 years ago and were very happy. Their Website is www.cranialtech.com If the doctor recommended it then I would obviously go with the recommendation..you would never want to look back and say sh*t I should have did it...both my friends and a few other people I have spoke to said that it goes so fast and you will be so happy you did it. We are 2 days into it and I have to say so far not that bad he doesnt mind the band..it is just a little hard to sleep with. Good Luck From: mwschizer <mwschizer@...>Subject: any band places on the west side of manhattan?Plagiocephaly Date: Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 11:14 AM I just saw a pediatric neurosurgeon at NYU who recommended a band forour 6 month old. He didn'tknow of any places closer to me (upper west side). does anyone know ofany on the west side or closer? recommendations? am also somewhat stressed about whether this is the right thing to do,but that's really another question...thanks! Guest guest
Oh no!!! My son is a horrible sleeper already. I can't take him getting WORSE!!! Sounds like we're just about in the same boat. Anyway, I thought about Cranial Tech since by car it wouldn't be too bad, but the doctor gave me another name on West 23rd and that should work OK. We go Friday, so I'll see... Guest guest
the orthotist makes all the difference, so if it was me, i'd go with the one you got a recommendation for, even if it is a little inconvenient. we are driving from atlanta to charlotte each week (239 miles each way) because of a good recommendation. it is your little one's head, after all! good luck and keep us posted!hollymum to alex (7 months), in docband since 1/5/09On Wed, Jan 14, 2009 at 2:39 PM, mwschizer <mwschizer@...> wrote: Oh no!!!
