was born 6 weeks early just before Xmas (7 years ago now). We spent

Xmas going back and forwards to the hospital, and despite the worry and the

trauma we still managed to have a happy xmas - and the staff were wonderful.

Yesterday, I showed a Xmas the card that he had sent us - aged 5 days.

Made by the staff it had a foot print and a polaroid print - it is very

special.

But yes, Xmas can be very difficult, after the loss of a baby. Our

was born on the 1st of November, and the Xmas after was so difficult, as I

should have been pregnant - and the missing element of that day was very

palpable. However, with support of our friends and family we got through it,

and enjoyed it in a rather subdued way.
