Could everyone please remember to:

- Trim their posts i.e. only include the relevant bits of the post to

which you are replying

- Change headings when you are changing the subject in your email away

from the original post

- When you are starting up a new topic of conversation please do it

using a new email/post rather than replying to an existing one. Some

people e.g. me(!) use the 'Ignore Conversation' or 'Mark Uninteresting'

facility on their email software and we can miss out whole conversations

of things we are interested in because we weren't interested in the

original subject

- Signatures

Please don't make these too long. In plain text postings, it's

generally considered good netiquette not to exceed 4 lines of text.

Second, we seem to have a fair few new members (and old ones re-joining

- nice to see you all). It might be helpful for people to update their

sigs to give a brief description of themselves to help out the newbies.
