Guest guest
Janet said........... So this makes me wonder....... Do 3+ boy only happen because: a) keep trying for a girl but she doesn't arrive just want another baby c) after 2 girls, say that's enough don't want to risk another one d) any other reason I can't think of Did keep trying - no 1 unplanned, 2 and 3 very planned, no 4 not planned. Did want another baby, but now in dilemma over no 5, cos we both would like another girl for Ela - distinct lack of girls on both sides of the family. After 3 boys, just assumed we'd have another boy, particularly as we weren't actively trying, so a girl was a nice surprise. Cant think of any other reasons ATM!! I have to say, we were trying to tip the odds with 2 and 3, but got caught out, so I knew that they would both be boys. However, cos had a number of health problems ( and all the other stuff as well), I was quite happy to have healthy babies. With Eloise, we did opt for a CVS cos I wanted to be sure that we eliminated the obvious stuff, one child with extra difficulties is enough for our family. On the " bet you want a girl " , my answer was always " no I'd like a baby, thank you " !! Hazel, if you want to mail me off-list, I may be able to help on the VBAC info. I sympathise totally with your concerns over another C/section - I've had four unplanned c/sections.
