We still do the family thing but one year they all got flu over Christmas and

were too ill to come on Christmas day

so we had a quiet Christmas, just me DH and DKs.It was really lovely and relaxing

without the pressure of catering for other

Family members needs.I felt a bit guilty enjoying it when they were ill,and it

has not happened since. We often find when

all the adults get together they talk so much the kids don't get a look in ,and

so play up (we don't have any other family

with kids locally yet but their working on it!)
