You might recall that two weeks ago he had his mobile phone stolen due

to his leaving it neatly in view on a wall when he went to play

football. He has been like a boy without an arm ever since..I have

just bought him a replacement but not nearly so cool as his Z5. The

cheapest unblocked phone I could get. (3310)

Today he called and started with " don't get angry please, just

listen... "

The Potz of the Month prize has to go to him.

He has had his WALLET stolen due to his leaving it neatly in view on a

wall when he went to play football.

He has lost about 50 shekels cash (approx £8), the keys to our house,

(getting some more cut )his Solo card which I had to cancel, and his

Swiss Army card. (sort of mini tool kit.)

Could have been worse, at least our house keys did not have an address

so we don't have to change all the locks.

How did that song go, the one about Where have all the flowers gone?

" When will they ever learn...when will they ehh....ver learn...? "

Just about sums him up! :))

Ruthie, are you sure there was nothing in his wallet to identify Yeshaya or the

house? The keys themselves may have been anonymous, but, if there was anything

in the wallet to identify Yeshaya, it might not take a brain surgeon to work out

the rest.

Just a thought.

I'm sure he will learn after this, tho maybe if there had been more

shekels in the wallet, might have had more effect - but then the

hassle factor of having keys recut, and not being able to use credit

card *as well* as the mobile, will filter slowly through the grey

matter?!

Anyway, you've just given me a Christmas present idea Ruthie - where

does one get Swiss Army card tool kits from? I suppose same sort of

places as the penknives.... (durr)

thanks anyway!

Thanks Alison but I did ask him and he assured me there was no

address. But since the intact wallet has since been returned by an

obviously outraged mother of the thief, I can only presume she took

matters in hand as soon as he turned up at home with the wallet.

Question.

How did the mother know where to return the wallet if there was no

address or identification?

Answer: I don't want to even *think* about it!!!
