Have you had the Wooden Toy catalogue through the post - http://www.wooddentoysonline.co.uk forts, farmyards, jigsaws of all sizes, a nice wooden marble run for 14.95, a 106 piece (brio -like) train set for 39.95 - not sure how this compares with Brio, but there are indiv bits to add from 3.95 - £12 (excellend for rellies and to add at Christmas) and a nice wooden storage box for it for 19.95. Guest guest Posted November 18, 2001 Report Share Posted November 18, 2001 One christmas my DDs got a name jigsaw - where the letters are cut out of the wood and you have to fit them in. This was brilliant - great for helping them to learn the letters of their name, before they can write. Also a lovely personal gift, they still have them 10/7 years on! I see the wooden toys site has one, but the pieces are not the actual shape of the letters like ours are, so can`t use them for drawing round .. I got mine from Hurst Toys in Martock, Somerset (label on the back) - can`t find a web page - I think I saw them at a craft fair.
