flylady and childrens rooms

We did exactly the same yesterday.I had been dredding it but was not that bad in

end.

Kids helped and DD even agreed with me to throw the broken Barbie Stable away!

Same here I had mentioned about the beds the night before,and

hey presto this morning they have done it.We also laid out all there school

clothes

last night,and this morning they were dressed before me,with no sign of the

usual Monday morning

lethargy.

Flylady has really worked for us and I find I have more time for the kids

paradoxically,as I am

not so stressed by the mound of chores waiting to be done

Better go had my 15 minutes of fun

P.s friends and family I tell about flylady look at me as if I'm mad-has anyone

else encountered this?

I produced 5 huge bin bags of rubbish from the spare room (theoretically,

should always be clean) and from the boys' room on Saturday. I'm not even

sure what it all was because they don't have toys in their room. The

result is that ds1 has happily spent many hours in his room, reading and

listening to music, as he realises it is so much more pleasant to live in a

tidy place.

My next dilemma is how to get the bin bags to the dustmen. No space in our

bins, dustmen come at 6am sharp tomorrow morning, and we can't put placky

bags out by themselves as the racoons are certain to get open them up and

spread the rubbish everywhere. I guess I'll be getting up extra early

tomorrow.
