It's lovely Ruthie! Did you ever imagine that 8 children were to follow?!

Definitely a child bride and you do look *so* happy.

DH looks AWFUL with his sixties black rimmed glasses and that ghastly

narrow brimmed hat!! And as for me... I ..well...I leave it to you.

Actually Ruthie I think you look lovely.. however you said that wedding dresses

was plain normally... yours look like it had a lot of detail on it... (actually

rather looked like my aunts who was married around same time but hers was

shorter lol)..

You can see through those glasses Ruthie, you must have been very

happy to have married such a kind looking man! I thought you looked

lovely, dress very pretty ... definitely the child bride!

Just 19, slim (*SIGH*) and yes we were very happy :))

you look lovely on your way to be remarried by Elvis!! And so

enviably slim!!

It was a *very* simple design, unfussy, sort of princess line with

flared sleeves (very sixties!!!), made of a lace fabric which gave it

the only detail. I did my own hair and makeup, unlike my girls who

all insist having a hairdresser and makeup girl to come round and do

us all up on their weddings.

They were the height of fashion then. Think Caine. And the

drainpipe trousers etc.
