Whats wrong with your son having a doll? How can we expect men to grow up

and be good fathers if we never give them the chance to learn how to nurture,

like girls do with dolls? Socialisation is a horrible thing, I dont think

there should be boys and girls toys, they should play with whatever they

want, without parents predudice. My stepson has a cooking set, and a doll

becasue that was what he wanted.

I think the sad thing is that children do sometimes play with 'other'

gender toys but once they get to school they can get teased about

t - I think it's great whatever they play with, as long as they play

with something, not just the puter!!...I think one of the advantages

of visiting other peoples homes for nct coffee or drop in centres is

that your young children can get some experience of the broad range of

the toys if they haven't got older siblings of opposite sex, then if

you see them being interested in any toys, you can get ones for

yourself..

Met him when I took part in a cookery competition - lovely man - he was worried

about me 'cos I'd burnt my arm and was trying to pull together 6 chefs in a

strange kitchen and one of the girls was a gibbering wreck because a student

waiter had nearly dropped the sugar dragon she had spent hours making.
