Hate to be boring but jeans, jeans and more jeans.

Cords make a change but show the grime more.

Lots of cotton T-shirts (long sleeves winter, short in summer),and a machine

washable jacket to smarten up a bit when you go out.I have 2 cord ones and a

denim one

and wear them all the time.

And a big warm coat that goes over everything.

When I shop I always check labels for machine wash and preferably tumble

dry.Anything

that says dry-clean or handwash goes back or gets machinewashed

Have fun shopping!

Kate

SAHM who lives permanently in jeans

P.s. got some lovely jeans at our GAP outlet near York at a much reduced price

Have washed and tumbled them multiple times already and they still feel great.

It's my birthday in 2 wks time (entering middle-age) and I thought

instead of a present I might persuade DH to buy me some clothes that

will suit my new status as SAHM in January. (That's my ph leather

suit (my only stylish item) back in the cupboard then).

Got to look stylish at the one o'clock club, LOL, so from your

experience what are essential items for SAHM?? Full body armour? My

casual wardrobe consists entirely of easily washable cotton trousers

and cotton T-shirts in colours were weetabix, snot, paint, and goo

doesn't show... but it's soooo boring.

The clothes I wear now is not all that dis similar to what I used to wear

before.. certain things does not get worn (like the shirt that needs cufflinks)

and certain new items have been bought with a look on how well they washed but I

am not a leggings and sweatshirt person (never was before so why should I now)

and whilst I do own a pair of jeans I don't live in them.. majority of my

clothes these days comes from Monsoon, Next or (not the flower

collection lol).. and that was more or less where I was shopping before.. Only

thing I have stopped wearing completely are knee height (or there about) length

skirts I just find them to impractical.. I do however still wear long skirts..

Oh and I have got more cardigans now that I used to lol.. (guess they took over

from my jackets I used to wear)

Lonnie

mama to Phoebe and Eloisa and expecting a Christmas delivery..

When the jar is always full of biscuits

What's the fun in biscuits??
