Guest guest
Thanks very much Francesca, I might find their head office number and see what they can do. Surely someone must know what goes where! The Guildford store didn't seem the slightest bit bothered that I would return the other ones. Hope you have a great time away and if I get really stuck I'll let you know about Tunbridge Wells. I'll try to find out where else they are closer to me first. Hannah Hannah - Disney problems Is it worth asking them to ring around other Disney stores - they might be keener if you say you're going to have to return the other pair. Or I could look in Tunbridge Wells if you like - but not until next week as off to Tenerife 2moro! Francesca
Guest guest
I can't remember exactly where you are Hannah but there's one in Reading. We got 's birthday pressie in the Disney Store on the Champs Elises, a Jessie Doll from Toy Story 2. Price in pounds £12.99, price in Francs 45FF (equivalent to £4.50). I checked on one in the Reading store when we got back and the pricing was exactly the same, weird because everything else seemed to be an exact exchange. Guest guest
Thanks Cerys, I'd forgotten about Reading - I hate getting lost there so tend not to go, but when I do I quite like the shops! I will also retry Kingston as my mum lives close, and Aberdeen again as I can ask MIL to go. I'm in Fleet so can get to Kingston, Guildford or Reading quite easily, depending on the children and I don't really want to go with them as I want them to have surprises. We're still in the " believe in Father Christmas " mode which I like. I was in Fleet the other day when DS1 saw the new Bob video. He made a big fuss because I didn't buy it, so I had to explain that Father Christmas might bring it for him. He was in floods of tears that FC might *not* bring it (he already has because it's in a cupboard at home!), so I thought I'd better do the " you're very lucky because some children don't get any presents at Christmas time " lecture. This completely confused him because why would Father Christmas not take presents to some children? I got myself well and truly up a blind alley with that one ;o)) Hannah Mum to (4), Nicky (2) and Euan (7 months) RE: Hannah - Disney problems I can't remember exactly where you are Hannah but there's one in Reading. I got in a lovely conversation with DS1 aged 8 about the Franchise for Bob the Builder stuff and why FC could not make it and why FC would have to go and buy it. The lady walking along side was in stitches at the pickle I was getting myself into! Jack was very quick to point out that he DOES still believe in FC! Especially after I told him that children who did not believe did not get presents. Trisha SAHM to 3 boys Jack 8, 6 and Isaac
