It is thin and long and definitely home made. I have it between the tiles and the shelves (which are wall cupboard height). Guest guest
I am searching the likes of Muji, Cotswold COmpany etc for a really big, 4- part letter rack (Me action, me file, him action, him file) to decant our hotspots into! Anneliese and Toddler Tim Fly lady - hot spots All you FLYers out there- I want to know how you deal with Hot Spots. Flylady tells us to clear them down - but *Where* does all the stuff go - e.g. school letters, party invitations, swimming enrolment rules, Brownie dates, PTA stuff, stuff which needs to be kept until the moment is passed? Do you have one BIG hot spot somewhere? Fess up ;-))) Barbara

BIL is fairly tall and the hooks are above the doorway to the sitting room! We improvised letter trays from the sort of boxes that tomatoes and courgettes come in - they usually stack quite securely. Only trouble is you just end up getting another one when the first is full... DH has a stack of 4 that are full to overflowing on his desk, perhpas this will become such hot spot that it will cause a China Syndrome style melt down (Debbie in Aus look out...) I am now feeling guilty about the 15inch high pile of NCT to be dones on my desk and the two 8inch piles of domestic to be dones that are sitting on the floor beside it... I can't help feeling that if a lot of this stuff had come by email I might have delt with it by now! Liz Goudie

By lunchtime same day it was reduced to a 6 inch pile of filing, four letters to be answered, two things to be posted and two phone calls. Lovely, lovely, lovely. The paper recycling sack did quite well. By lunctime today it had all been dealt with (another 15 mins today on top of the hour on Monday). Just the filing to do but as long as I know things are in my filing pile, I'm quite happy to call that '2001 - Personal' and file it en masse. -- Sue
