Guest guest
Hi , The lungs are not too salty, they (and the whole body) loose salt very quickly. So, for some people with CF, the salty air replaces some of the salt in the lungs. I think that a while back someone on here mentioned that there was a study saying that sea salt was a better replacement in food than table salt, I wonder if that fits in here too? Some here in the states, are sold to use saline solution in their nebulizers too. hope I didn't make more confusion! mom of 4 wcf sea air CF can some one tell me i why it is good to be by sea air, if the lungs are already to salty anyway??? and I are thinking of moving back to the beach, we are living in a damp cold part of New Zealand. Guest guest
We are asked to use saline in our son's neb. But I think I would rather live by the sea, my hubby and I are starting to really consider moving to a warmer climate, like New Zealand or Australia. We are here in the north, Canada, Toronto area. We are both teachers and we hoping to get teaching jobs somewhere.
