I've been inactive for a while but I just started up the individual

messages again. This is because a longtime friend of mine from

another list just found out that her son has CF. I invited her to

join this list and I'll let her introduce herself if she chooses to

join.

Anyway, Ricky is doing well. He takes 15 meds now but they seem to

keep him steady mentally and healthwise. One thing I have to say...

I wish someone had told us about Singulair sooner. It sure has been

an incredible drug for Ricky.

Andy is doing great too. He will start kindergarten in the fall.

My divorce was final in December and in January the boys and I moved

in with my mom for financial reasons. That's going okay.

My ex-husband was finally arrested (after 1-1/2 years) earlier this

year for his molestation of the boys (the reason we split up and

eventually got divorced). We are looking at a protracted pre-trial

and trial process, which I am not looking forward to.

Hope everyone is well!

Becky (formerly Whicker)

mom of Ricky (7) with CF, ADHD, bipolar disorder, learning

disabilities and Andy (5) no CF or anything else

Welcome back Becky. Great to hear from you and happy Ricky's doing well. I

had no idea your husband was such a creep. Wow.. I can't imagine, I just

don't understand anyone who would hurt a child especially their own. man. I

can't imagine what you've been through.

Hope being back online helps. I'm on cystic-l and the CF support group on

conncoll as well, it would be great to see you join up with those as well if

you have the time.

love and hugs,

mom of age 19!! and Nick age 21 OMG!!

Hi Becky - You might remember me from before Kathy G. from New York.

is nine now and doing fairly well. She had pneumonia over Easter break and

is on nine different medications. She keeps up a busy schedule. I hope to

hear more from you.
