Hi all came home saturday he is feeling the same. is being

tested for (drum roll ) B.cepacia which is what my concern has been for 2 -1/2

years since they were both in the hospital at the same time and he was in more

contact with the cancer patient who had b.cepacia .I don't think this is what he

needs but when does this disease ever give what they need.He is under the

impression that if he has MAI and B.cepacia that his life expectancy will be

6-12

months.My head and my heart are screaming NO NO NO.All that I have researched

says MAI is treated long term with a combo of 6 to 8 antibotics for 12 to 18

months then if that fails they use( Chemo and they don't have such good

results with it. OK who knows about this MAI and B.Cepacia PLEASE HELP ME this
