Guest guest
Hi - My son Blake is starting the paper work for his " Wish " The social worker at the clinic said the sky is the limit...but I just wondered if we are wishing for to much or not enough. What kind of money do they usually spend on a wish. Blake was born in Hawaii, so he wants to go there for 10days. And of course do all the sight seeing and he would like to take a cruise from the island of Oahu to the island of Hawaii. So I don't know if that is asking for to much or not. I appreciate any feed back. Shelia
Guest guest
Hi Shelia, I have heard kids have to be a certain age (I am not sure what that age is) before they are allowed to go overseas but I'm not sure if Hawaii is considered overseas. I'd just have him ask and see what happens. If the social worker said the sky's the limit, well, there you go. I know they don't give cars or any types of motorized vehicle. So, why not Hawaii? love, PS If Hawaii doesn't work out, the Disneyworld wish is really awesome. Make a wish questions? > Hi - My son Blake is starting the paper work for his " Wish " > The social worker at the clinic said the sky is the limit...but I > just wondered if we are wishing for to much or not enough. Guest guest
I don't think its about money...for once - I know they refused 's first 2 wishes - (1) for a built in pool of pistachio icecream and (2) a skatepark in our yard. They said the liability was too great! I can't see why Hawaii would be a problem. My friend was to Paris, France! Rosemary in NY with 3 children (12, 10 and 6) with CF. I have a dog named TOBI and coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT "
