Sandy (Reno, NV),

You wrote, " I've been dealing with panc ... for years ... but I found out I

was pregnant last week and have been trying to find other forms of pain

control. "

I currently have three inquiries I am trying to find referrals and support

for from women with Pancreatitis and that are also pregnant. I am doing a search

for a High Risk OB Doctor or Nurse practitioner with experience with

Pancreatitis to attend a scheduled moderated forum as soon as I can organize it.

I

will let you know when it is. In the mean time, please send me five or so

specific questions that you have so I can be sure they are addressed in the

forum.

This, of course, is pertinent to anyone else who is pregnant or has some

interest in Pancreatitis in Pregnancy. Anyone interested in attending is

invited,

however, all questions need to be submitted prior to the forum. There may be

time to open the forum up for additional questions or comments.

If you have experienced Pancreatitis during a pregnancy I am interested in

receiving questions or concerns that you had during that time.

Please stay tuned for the date and time of the " Pancreatitis and Pregnancy

Moderated Online Forum, "

My pancreatitis started when I fell pregnant. Doctors put me on

Demerol and Phenergen for the pain relief, but I did use it

sparingly. My daughter was born premature, but only by 3 1/2 weeks,

and this i'm wondering if was from having pain medicine...
