Guest guest Posted November 11, 2003 Report Share Posted November 11, 2003 , I overlooked the word " percutaneous " and thought you were talking about surgical drainage. I had this pseudocyst partially drained by percutaneous drainage in 2001, and it just filled right back up again. That's one reason why they nixxed that idea for this time. Also, the surgeon said that because the pseudocysts were so inflamed and " angry " , he didn't want to disturb them any further by fine needle aspiration at this time. They have not matured yet, and apparently percutaneous drainage while they're still in this aggravated state would be too risky. Sorry for the confusion! With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
