Guest guest
If anyone out there can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Hannah, who is 20 months, had been on amoxicillin for three days, she had a nasty sinus infection, got diarrhea extremely bad, she was changed to Ceftin for an additional 14 days. She got off of the Ceftin on May 31. Over the past week and a half she had developed a wet, junky cough, no fever. Her tonsils are huge. Strep test came back negative. She is swalling all of the mucous, causing extremely thick, mucousy stool. She is doing albuterol every 4 hours and pulmicort with albuterol in AM and PM and chest pt 3 times a day. Symptoms are not being relieved after 4 days of all of this. Any suggestions? Should I take her to the CF clinic? Thanks, Jenna mother to Hannah 20 months w/cf, Shamus 6 1/2 nocf, a 4 nocf

In any case, I have an appointment at the CF clinic tomorrow at 8:15 am. Thanks, Jenna
Guest guest
I would up the PT to 4 times a day and get on the phone to CF Clinic, Jenna. From my own experience with , it sounds like she needs a round of IV antibiotics. I hope not though. good luck junky cough If anyone out there can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
