Re: recent article on unproven cf treatments? AND Today Show

I haven't been on this list for a while (shame on me--too much to

keep on top of!), but saw this thread and thought I'd add my two

cents.

I see you already have the date of the Woman's Day article. Last

updated date I have for the Today Show segment is June 16, between

8:30 and 9 am. told me she'd update me end of week.

I would echo Torsten's advice to visit 's home page. Some

excellent, excellent research and copies of several of her articles

that have been published, one in Free Radical Biology that lays out

the hypothesis for the GSH treatment. I reviewed that with my

daughter's doc and gained permission to start inhaled GSH+ (she has

been on oral GSH for 5 months with excellent results, including major

weight gain, better temperment, better sleep habits, better

digestion, etc.). has been very helpful to me through this

whole process as well.

Anyway....my two cents as a believer. malin was ready to be admitted

to the hospital to have tubes put in (had only gained 5 oz. in the

first 5 months after diagnosis--her first week on oral GSH she gained

7 oz. She has since gained almost 5 pounds total in a little over 6

months--we still have a ways to go, but are on all of the growth

curves for the first time since falling off at 4 months of age.)

This will be interesting to watch develop.
