Guest guest
I hope you are feeling better today, I understand how bad days can be. I want to apologize for not being there for you when you were reaching out. I guess I was too self absorbed in my own self pity. Since this chronic condition is relatively new to me compared to you and most of the others I have not had such negative experiences with physicians and staff. You are right though, as a nurse we were trained to look out for individuals who may be presenting with drug seeking behavior. I never really believed it much though, because if any body really wanted drugs that badly it is not that hard to find it on the street and even now I get spam emails all the time offering controlled substances. I have had patients who come in for surgery who are drunk or stoned; bless their little hearts trying to help the anestheiologist along. I just want to remind you that as a patient you are the customer, you are buying a service provided by the physician and staff and that you should always be treated with the respect you deserve. I truly hope this day will be better for you; and me too. Warmly with love
