I need advice on pain meds

I am still having a lot of post procedural pain as well as panc pain

and I do have a very generous amount of demerol and loads of anti

depressants and anti spasmotics. I am allergic to all morphine

opiots but I would love to find out if anybody has been taking a

med; non opioit; that relieves panc pain without causing me to be a

blithering idiot. The narcs alleivate the pain, and the others are

pretty much a sedative. So no pain no brain!!! Does any body have

any suggestions?
