Guest guest
I've noticed that a few of you new members have mentioned that you're taking Percocet, which is a combination of oxycodone and actimenophen (Tylenol). If you aren't able to get your physicians to switch you to oxycodone only, you may talk to them about an alternative choice that contains less acetimenophen, thus less toxins for your liver. Percocet is made in different doses 5/325 mgs,., 7.5/650 mgs. and 10/650 mgs. That latter large number is the amount of Tylenol in each capsule. There is ALSO a Percocet 10/325 mgs., that many doctors are not aware of (two of mine weren't), that allows you to have the higher dosage of oxycodone without the higher amount of tylenol. This is the dosage of Percocet I take and I feel that it does well. My current dosage is 2 every 4 hours for breakthrough pain. Your doctor has to write the script specifically for the 10/325 mgs. in order for it to be given, if it just says " Percocet 10 " , the ones with 650 mgs. of Tylenol will be given. I just thought that some of you may find this information helpful. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep. PAI, Intl.
