Guest guest Posted February 8, 2004 Report Share Posted February 8, 2004 , I also have the esophageall spasms. What works for me is very cold ice water or a bite of ice cream. Something VERY cold. Have you tried that ??? In addition, I have used Levsin .125 mg ( I think that is the dose ( under my tongue, It is very helpful). Some docs write for Nitroglycerin under the tongue but all that does is give me a raging headache. if I get no relief from the cold ice water, I reach for the Levsin. I hope this helps you. if you have not tried it, talk with your doc to see if these are good suggestions for you.
