Why cant our thoughts, feelings and decisions of life be as simple

as a game of tic tac toe. Ewwwee I have the center square, odds are

I win! Even the has been TV stars vied for the center square. The

center square, the envy of all. Yes you may loose, but the odds;

paahhleeeze. Your the center square. The dreams of has been

stars; the what ifs of loves long gone; the wishes of a child

blowing dandelion fronds to the wind. The center square. Here's to

all the princesses who have thrown the crown to the kings feet. Who

have chosen to build a life outside the square. To stand in the

face of authority and defy all that was thrust upon them that which

is deemed right or wrong. There is the shine; the defiant shine. I

will stand alone; no geometry will define this place of shine.

Those in the square would whisper, wonder, deface the soul of the

defiant. Then the silent one in the left corner, a wimper, a fear,

a need seeking only truth and kindness. Would force the defiant

back to the well accepted square. To make decisions as to how the

square should go on. Only to find them selves creating new squares

that do not fit any where. That fall and crumple and do nothing but

hurt the one seeking kindness and truth. The defiant one fullfilled

the wishes of the seeking truth and kindness. Or thought they had;

standing strongly against the bludgeoning blocks; fending all

assaults. The right thing. There is still no line, up down or

diagonally; no true winner. I so do wish life could be as simple as

a game of tic tac toe. I would erace it all.
