Guest guest
My son Dylan has been pancreatic sufficient. Lately, he is complaining about stomach pains after eating. Guest guest
Rosemary, unfortunately he may be becoming pancreatic insufficient. you should bring it up with CF center quickly. I wouldn't talk about it in front of him though. had 2 accidents at school in the beginning of the year because she hadn't had enough enzymes with the tube feeds the night before. She just though she was going to pass some gas and instead she had accidents. I had to raise her enzymes for her tube feeds and she hasn't had an accident since. Good luck. My son complained about his stomach hurting all the time after eating. During his CF work-up they found through xrays that he was completely filled with stool. He is pancreatic sufficient but CF interveres with normal bowel movement. He is on an over the counter med to make him go and he hardly complains now. He might just be constipated because of the CF. Tell the doctor. jan
Guest guest
Hi Rosemary, Children who are Pancreatic sufficient can get this thing with a word I cannot spell and it has a long name. They can get quite bad pains. My son is Pancreatic insuffient and takes enzymes but he has been in hospital with some CF kids who have had this and it has been quite painful. You probably need to get it checked out as it may not be this, it could be a number of other things including constipation. Luv a from Australia.
