Guest guest
Jim, Felicity, all, I spent some time last night trying to find the information I had and found that the articles I had were incorrectly labeled in my folder, so I'm having to read through each file to find the information. I won't be able to finish that until sometime tomorrow, perhaps even later. I have my follow up appointment with my GI this afternoon which will take half the day, as we have several issues to discuss. I have lost another 5 pounds and this is sure to have him talking about feeding tubes again. Also I have family coming for the holiday, and much to prepare for. Our table(s) will be heavily laden with pancreas and diabetes-friendly foods that I've been slowing preparing and freezing all week. I've already done taste tests on all the improvised recipes and am thrilled at the results. No one will know the difference. There will be 14 at the table, so you can understand how busy I've been. Sorry for the delay in getting this information out. Some of it's really obscure. I found an article last night that I think would be of great interest to everyone that was compiled by the American Gastroenterology Association. It's in a PDF format and I don't know how it can't be saved to file or copied, but I will figure something out and make the information available for everyone. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
