Guest guest
Hi, By congential your doctor basically means heredity or a defect that you had at birth. A significant number of people with pancreatitis have defects in the ducts servicing the pancreas. One such defect that is a cause of pancreatitis is called a pancreas divisum. Some of our members have that kind of defect and can explain in more detail. You could be running the low grade temp for a number of reasons. It could be you were running one before the EUS be didn't notice it yet. Or it could be that you started running it after the EUS possibly because the procedure may have caused a bacterial infection. It can also be associated with your pancreatitis. Best of luck, Bert

Guest guest
Thanks Deanna Currently I am not on anything for n/v. My GI Dr. said that I had the temp back in the 1st of October when I had my first consult. He wants to do some autoimmune testing for Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. My brother has rheumatoid arthritis real bad. I never thought of any thing like that. THanks, Patty Louisville, KY
Guest guest
Patty, another good website for info on pancreatitis is the Hopkin's GI website. http://www.hopkins-gi.org/pages/latin/templates/index.cfm?pg=disease1 & organ=4 & di\ sease=24 & lang_id=1 If the link doesn't work, copy and paste the whole string of text, including any that has wrapped to the next line.
