Guest guest
, actually, there may be more forms, I won't know till Social Security sends them. I'm eligible for SSDI, I know that already. I've been through two stages to get this, the initial claim and an appeal and both were denied stating that everrything is controlled by meds, so I should be able to work a sendentary job, completely ignoring the fact that the meds are part of the problem. So, I am now waiting for a Trial Hearing with a judge to get my insurance. That can take up to 5 months to get. And if they deny that, I have to start the whole process over again. I'm also applying for Long Term Disability through Metlife since I had the insurance through the company I worked with. This is to supplement what SSDI will give me if I ever manage to get it. I am so sorry your pain is worse, but at least you have a doctor that is willing to treat you with pain medications. I know they are scary, but the pain is bad enough to need them. I hope you are alright until they pull the stent on Monday. Please let us know how you do afterwards. I hope you have a good Thanskgiving without too much pain. Don't eat too much that can make the pain worse. Anytime you need to talk or feel that depression that we are all prone too, feel free to write me or, if you have any of these three free instant messengers, (I have Yahoo, AOL and MSN), I'll forward you my screen name for all three and then you can catch me online and we can chat sometime.
