Dole Pineapple in Whatever

Anyone remember my struggles to preserve my stomach lining from all of

Dole's versions of canned pineapple with no sugar added and packed in

" juice, " pineapple juice, " " it's own juice " and even one with added

undisclosed corn?

I complained on the " 800 " line. They sent me some free coupons and I

grabbed three tins clearly labeled " in its own juice. " The cashier

accepted the coupons. I tasted the first spoonful--perfect!

But-- what I had grabbed was Del Monte by mistake and the " in it's own

juice " label was bright and clear. My batch was packed in Canada.

You Yankees will have to do your own thing contacting Del Monte as

their website had no links or movable parts!

Yes I do remember, Carol. I have just been avoiding it and my kids don't

like it anyway. I noticed last time I shopped that the bigger cans of

Dole say something like 'packed in pinapple juice' but the smaller,

single size cans say 'packed in it's own juice'. Same product, and even

same country of origin. Weird, huh?

I managed to only last 3 weeks on SCD, but my boys are still 100%. I am

easily tempted and can never stick with any type of diet,lol. Anyway, I

find that the pineapple burns like hell going down for me too, and I

don't have GI issues, at least no major ones. But maybe I had the same

kind you bought?
