Guest guest
I am still sitting here slack jawed at the complete stupidity of our government and its officials. I have first hand seen blatant abuse of Soc Services that go unnoticed by the " watchdogs " of the SS Admn. Then here you stand; with your history and they throw every imaginable curve ball. There is something seriously wrong with a 36 year old man who stands 6'7 " weighs 280# who braggs about benchpressing 310# who is still getting medicare and SSI for a belly gsw he received when he was in his 20's during a gangland drug war. I do not understand that type of system. Kimber I hope and pray that you receive all the assistance you need and deserve. If there is any time that you are in despiration you let me know. What blood thinner are you taking? I have heard a lot of good things about Plavix, its new, Levaquin is very good as well. I hope you and your family are having a blessed Thanksgiving. Its not about the feast its about the giving and the thanking. Warmly
Guest guest
Kimber, Your statement that your GYN was thinking about putting you on birth control pills to help bring back your menstral cycle intrigued me. Isn't he/she concerned about the possiblitiy of increasing your blood clotting potential? Or are birth control pills different than they were thirty years ago? The reason I ask is because I had some severe problems with phlebitis earlier in my life, requiring hospitalization and anticouagulant injections. During my child bearing years, my GYN wouldn't let me take the pill, due to his concern about my clotting problems. Consequently, we considered naming our first born " Delfen " , until better judgement interceded! I have never taken birth control pills, because of the potential for clotting. Has the formula changed so that this is no longer a risk? With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep. PAI, Intl. They are thinking about possibly putting me on birth control to bring it back, but there's the possibility that might aggravate my pancreas, so no decision has been made yet. When I did have my cycle while on the blood thinners my cramps were much worse, but I had a lot less blood clots than I used to.
