Guest guest
Scot, did you know that hypercalcemia also causes pancreatitis? That may be what caused that attack when your calcium levels were 12 times higher than the normal levels. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
Dear Scot, I feel sooo badly for you right now. Watching you count down the hours. How I remember being there. I'm glad to hear how determined you are to be treated well. That doc should be able to at least give you a 1 month supply of pain medicine until you can get into another doc (if you do end up kicking him to the curb.) Even though you have an appt. with a surgeon, still get a script for 1 month. Just in case something happens & your appt. gets cancelled or the surgeon gives you the same attitude. Chances are he won't, but just in case. I would hate to see you continue suffering. I know how much you hurt right now, & I wish there was something one of us could do for you. I guess the best thing is to just don't eat tonight, but try to stay hydrated. I wish you the best for tomorrow, & please, let us all know what happens, ok? BIG BIG HUGS!
