Guest guest
Hi everyone, We just had our two week check-up and there was visible improvement. I really didn't expect to see anything so quickly, but there it was! I wanted to pass this on to provide a little encouragement for those out there who may need it. I had serious reservations about pursuing treatment, but with each passing day, I am convinced that we are doing the right thing. On Sunday night during Ray's one hour break from the helmet, my husband commented on how different he looks without it. He has gotten used to seeing him in the helmet. In just two short weeks, the helmet is already the 'norm'. I posted a picture under 'Our Plagio Babies Q - R' . It is 'Ray - 11 months'. Also wanted to mention that we are out and about all the time and have not had any negative comments, just some curious looks. Most people just smile. We did run into another family with a band on Saturday. This is the first time we had seen another one since I learned about plagio. Thanks for the all support and good luck to all of you out there. -Ray (10 months, DOC band 2 weeks for brachy) Dallas Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
