Guest guest
There is an excellent clinic & all the docs there are very good & EXPERIENCED for years. The hospital is lovely as well ..It is " ALL CHILDREN'S " number if you would need is You will get Newkirk. She is the COOR & will take super care of you. Tell her your from out of town, I referred you & what you need ASAP. She is over several sites, (they do satellites for CF also) They even have an adult clinic -it is in Tampa .but that is just the bridge away............... You can also call me 1- & we are an hour away. In Orlando where we have a wonderful center too NEMOURS. FL. Has quite a few centers -all with satellites. The docs come to the people, with their teams.:) Best wishes, LOVE & HUGS, grandmomBEV sounds congested. Hi, has had a weird dry cough since April. She was on claritin but it wasn't working. They just switched her to Zyrtec-she had her first dose yesterday. When she woke up yesterday, she sounded a bit congested. She also had a few " wet " sounding coughs. I was bothered enough to call CF clinic and her doc said go on the bactrum and up the nebs and PT to 3x a day. So that has been done but she woke up sounding worse today. All this is bad enough but we are supposed to be going to ST. Pete, FL to visit with my husband's Grandmother and his brothers. has never met her Great-Grandmother and she hasn't seen her uncles in almost a year, so she is very excited to go, but now I am wondering if it is ok to go. Her doc doesn't sound too worried, he is supposed to see her on the 24th and they said that should be soon enough. I would just hate for her to have to go back " in " any time soon. She hasn't been in the hospital since October 2000, but I'd like to keep her out for more time. Can anyone else think of something I can do at home? I am thinking that I should put her up to 4 nebs and pts a day but I can't think of anything else...........I am great when it comes to other people's problems but when it comes to ours, I just get too upset to think about wheat else I can do. Thanks for any suggestions, Mom of , 4 w/CF
