Guest guest
Hi Cristine, Thank you for the kind words, but as it happens so often in families, my daughter does not share your thoughts concerning me. She and I have always had our ups and downs, for the most part, we have gotten along. But since this illness has taken over her life, she seems to have shut me out. I try not to tell her what to do, I make suggestions, but we see things in a different light. In the beginning of her illness, she wanted me with her constantly, at each procedure she had done, at each doctor appt., and called often asking me questions. Now that has all changed, I am doing my best to accept that, it is the only way I can be any part of her life at all. She is a stubborn person and more of an introvert, where as I am an outgoing person. I can be stubborn too, I admit that and I will fight til the end for family or friend if I believe in that person. This has gotten me in trouble before,,,lol...wonder why?? I only have my daughter and a son and their families, my parents passed away many years ago and my kids never had any grandparents. I think this has effected them too, in the fact that they sort of feel like they havent had the family life other people they know have. My son is the opposite of her, he is outgoing, can talk to anyone and is making a good life for himself. Gosh,,,just realized that I am rambling and I am sure no one wants to know the story of my life. I have been reading your posts, , and I am sorry about the way your siblings have treated you. We never know what each of us has going on in our personal lifes, do we? If you need to talk, Im here to listen. Hoping you a good evening and night, Jean
Guest guest
: I have kids but they are grown. Oldest 29 and lives in PA and the youngest 27 and a firefighter who is married and lives here. My hubby has the flu for the second time in two months! My dad had abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery last week. My youngest has the the flu also and I have tried to take care of everybody in some capacity! It aint working so I got home health care for my dad and to keep an eye on my mom. They live 30 miles away and I am not able to go back and forth everyday. My son is married and his wife took off and took him to the doc and my hubby being the stubborn person he is went to work anyway with the flu and he works in a hospital! I feel like calling up there anonymously and complaining about all the sick employees and giving out names so they will send em home! I stay in my office downstairs away from him. I have my puter, my stereo and TV and I am a medical transcriptionist so when I feel like it I work. I am taking care of me today. By the way, I have always like animals better than people! ha-ha. My blue eyed husky scarlet is staring at me as I type! She lays her ball on my desk to throw. If I ignore her she will push it and finally throw it on the keyboard! Very spoiled animal! ha-ha. Think I wil take some pain medication and veg out! The weather is suppose to get bad here tonight. I went to the store and bought the necessary supplies and am staying in! Have a good evening.
