Guest guest
Dear : Regarding your question about recurrent skin rashes, etc.: I too have been experiencing mysterious rashes, sometimes hives, all with unknown sources. I've seen my regular Dr., a dermatologist and an allergist over the past 3 years or so because of these recurrent rashes, all to no avail. This past episode began in September and was initially thought to be a virus related to Chicken Pox. I was covered head to toe adn itched like crazy. After 3 1/2 weeks, I returned to the Dr. who referred me to a dermotogist who specialize w/ allergies (in case) who prescribed a cream I apply to my entire body daily. The cream contains hydrocortisone. This is the ONLY thing that has worked with the exception of a couple blasts of steriods that I truly hate taking (they can be very dangerous and the relief is only temporary). I am STILL using this cream, as this rash continues to flourish on almost a daily basis, to a lesser degree than previously. The general feeling is that it's probably related to the pain medications used to managed the CP. So the source of the problem cannot be removed at this time. Are there others experiencing similar instances? Armantrout
Guest guest
Yep, me too. Although lately, the rashes seem to have stopped. No one seems to be able to tell me what they are caused by. Yes, another lovely component of this lovely disease.
