cough, stomach pains & funny story

Isn't it amazing how quickly children with Cf can go from no cough to a

full on cough? Eilish had no cough on Friday and yesterday she had a

wet cough. Last night she coughed all night long. So by 3am I was

cranky, not with her but lack of sleep. So we both slept right in from

of the fire to warm the air. That didn't help much so at 4am or so I

made her a hot chocolate and that seemed to stop the coughing for a

while. So we finally got to sleep. Then my dopey husband (not really)

came running out of our bedroom at 7am saying to wake up because we'd

slept in for school. He thought it was Monday. I growled that it was

Sunday, to which he said are you sure. So then I lay there thinking was

it really Sunday? I wasn't impressed.

Also her stomach pains are still there so at this very moment she is at

the casualty dept. to see the GI dr. about it. I don't expect them home

till at least midnight, as the hsp. is a hour away.
