Ortho-McNeil and Retreat Update

Hello Everyone...

Well I just recieved a huge surprise. I had mailed a letter to Ortho-MCNeil

SEVERAL weeks ago but today I got a kock on the door. It was the UPS guy. I got

5 LARGE packages from them FULL of CF stuff and different respirartory

therapy videos meant for any lung disease ( PEP. FLUTTTER, Auto-something

drainage...) Plus a zillion books and 2 boxes of CF Medical Diaries...very

nice....

If anyone is interested in anything let me know...I'm gonna charge a VERY

small amount to raise money for the support group here ( we want to have a summe

rparty at the water park here and other activities during the year )...$5 per

video plus shipping (won't be much ) and $2 for books plus shipping ( $2 if

that ) ....

There are a lot of books for kids with CF....Little ones and school age too.

Some stuff will go in a goodie bag at the retreat for every camper but they

sent SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much...LOL

My hubby hasn't seen the boxes piled high in our living room yet...LOL

Plus I found out today that Pancreacarb ( Digestive Care, INC ) is making

our camp T-Shirts...I designed them...very cute. They are also sending goodie

Bags for every camper....

Im getting excited about the Retreat coming up...it'll be so much

fun...Rafting and swimming and a Big BBQ...plus rock climbing and repelling ( I

won't be

able todo that b/c of the arthritis and whatnot ) but it'll be fun. We will be

in this big old cabin that was built in Davie Crocket's time and re-furbished

and includes electricity now.

Its RIGHT on the water of the Nolichucky.....Plus the Appalachin trail in

righ there...Excuss my pitiful spelling...LOL
