Guest guest
I haven't made these in a while, because once my son got used to eating cucumbers this way, we just evolved to sprinkling lemon juice over them and he likes them just as well. But these are really yummy--the dill and the onion are a nice addition. Refrigerator Pickles Combine in a 1 quart large-mouth jar: 2-3 sprigs fresh dill, OR 1 t. dried dillweed 1/2 medium onion, sliced 1 clove garlic 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice 11/2 cups water 4 t. salt Fill the jar with sliced cucumbers, pressed down. Top with remaining half onion, sliced. Cover and refrigerate. these pickles will be ready to eat in 24 hours.
