Guest guest
Hi Chrissie! Now here's a lovely topic to begin with....steatorrhoea!! (Surely it could be brought into some book on great chat-up lines or how to make small talk at parties!) Well, do you take enzymes? I'm sorry if you've already told us this but, as I've said before, my brain needs as much help as my panc! I have found that for 99% of the time, Creon keeps me reasonably in order. It's a huge improvement on pre- Creon days. My specialist, as you may remember, advocates taking high doses of enzymes to allow for as normal a diet as possible. I have read similar advice from docs on some other sites but I know there are many who still advocate the traditional low-fat diet. I never eat fried foods or anything high in fat but neither do I weigh out the grams of fat anymore, as I used to do before my specialist increased the Creon dose. Could it be that other things, such as certain fruits or veggies also irritate your gut? The problem is that you can eat something one day and be OK and the next it causes trouble. I REALLY sympathise about having to go off to the toilets frequently. That's one of things I have detested about this disease over the years. Thank Heaven the Creon now helps. Now I can't remember your other questions!!?? I'm not sure about Boo Koo???? Do you mean the French for " a lot " which is " beaucoup " , ie " beaucoup de questions " - " a lot of questions " or is it some expression I've never heard of or someBODY I've never heard of? Now you'll probably have a good laugh at my expense...if it's something obvious that I haven't recognised! Do you perhaps mean " Boo Hoo " , as if you were crying? PLEASE enlighten me....I feel even more stupid than usual! Love, Fliss Take care Chrissie and don't do too much at work.
