He has continuing characters in some of his books, but not all. The one I'm reading is about his continuing character. His name is Elvis Cole and his partner is Joe Pike. The Crais that got me started was not about these two however. I don't even remember the name of it (imagine that) but it was about an older policeman and his young rookie partner. They fall in love, etc. It was a tear jerker. Good to hear the Jance is a good read. Sounds like our taste in books is similar. I like everything Jance writes--Beaumont and Brady. Here's to reading!
